見證香港歷史上第一個特首選舉公開論壇

各位市民、朋友：

百多名來自各個界別的選委，誠邀您參加「特首選舉跨界別選委論壇」。論壇是延續有競爭選舉的精神的一個實踐，希望促成候選人公開辯論他們的政綱和政治理念，回答選委、社會團體和市民的提問。儘管現時祇得梁家傑一候選人應邀出席，論壇或美中不足，但我們認為不能因另一候選人的迴避而剝奪市民唯一的參與機會，會堅持繼續舉辦。我們得到資深傳媒人、城市論壇前主持吳明林先生答允擔任主持人，保證會以公平、不偏不倚的原則搞好論壇。我們亦安排網上匯集問題，歡迎市民和團體參與。詳情請細閱下文。

Dear citizens and friends,

Over 100 Election Committee members invite you to join the “Cross sector CE Election Forum”. The Forum is a realization of the spirit of a Contested CE Election – an attempt to get the CE candidates together to address their policy and visions, to answer questions raised by the general public. We have invited Mr. Ng Ming Lam, a veteran journalist and previous moderator of RTHK’s City Forum, to act as the Moderator of the Forum. The Forum will be a fair and open platform for CE candidates to discuss their policy platforms, and although unfortunately we only have one candidate who committed to come, we believe we have to proceed so as not to deprive Hong Kong people of the opportunity to meet and question the candidate(s). We are also collecting questions through our website.
